Another Day, Another Lens

Two days ago I added pictures from the Fuji/Pentax lens testing. I have a second telephoto lens that I have not used before. This is the Fuji GFX 50S with the Pentax 135 3.5 attached. The package is very light and unassuming, and I think quite versatile for street and portrait photography. I am including examples below. \

I shot some indoor pictures with low light levels, then today with nice morning sun. I am just going to drop the gallery here and let the results speak for themselves.

Fujifilm GFX 50S & Pentax Super-Takumar 135 Examples

The pictures with the butterfly really illustrate the creamy, smooth bokeh you get with this combination. These pics were shot at f/4. I am very impressed with how this lens paints the picture. The 135 mm doesn’t have the reach of the 200 mm, but has a better overall look and feel. It has found a place in my camera bag. Next up on the Fuji is the Zeiss 135 f/2. Stay tuned for that one. I predict a championship trophy for that combination.

My work for pay was technical writing. But my passion is collecting classic photo gear and using film cameras and digital cameras to capture images that inspire and motivate me. I hope that you are inspired as well. This site is more about my places that my wife and I go on our travels. Or articles about cameras and lenses that I am currently using. Sometimes I will include links to images that I want to share with you.
